The service and the clinicians

EttaCare is a software platform for finding providers and supporting scheduling, communications, records, insurance and payment workflows. Independent practices and clinicians, not EttaCare, provide health care and are responsible for clinical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, availability, licensure and professional obligations.

Provider profiles and coverage information can change. Verification indicators describe checks recorded by the platform; they are not a recommendation, guarantee of fit or guarantee that an insurer will pay.

Accounts and authorized use

Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and notify EttaCare promptly of suspected unauthorized access. A parent, guardian or other representative may act only when authorized. Do not probe, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, misuse another person’s information or use the service unlawfully.

Care, emergencies and telehealth

EttaCare is not an emergency or crisis service. Call 911 for immediate danger and call or text 988 for crisis support. Telehealth depends on internet, device and location conditions and may fail; follow the provider’s backup plan. Recording and transcription are off unless the platform presents the required consent and the feature is expressly enabled for the session.

Fees, insurance and estimates

A provider or practice sets clinical fees. Insurance eligibility and cost estimates are informational and are not a promise of coverage or final payment. Charges, refunds and claim corrections follow the disclosed financial workflow. A Good Faith Estimate is an estimate, not a contract or guarantee of the final amount.

Availability and changes

EttaCare may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue features to protect users, comply with law or operate the service. Paid practice plans receive the availability commitment and automatic credits described on the Support and service levels page; no other uninterrupted or error-free operation is promised.

Suspension, termination and records

EttaCare may restrict access for misuse, legal requirements or security risk. Ending an account does not erase clinical, billing, agreement, security or audit records that EttaCare or a practice must retain. Applicable privacy notices and agreements continue to govern those records.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided without warranties beyond express written commitments. EttaCare is not responsible for independent clinical decisions or for third-party services outside its control. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited. These Terms and the applicable service, privacy and business associate agreements are read together.
